On this bright Tuesday, the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universitas Trisakti once again enlivened the “Selasa Wastra” event with full spirit and enthusiasm. This event is part of our efforts to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia, especially wastra.

Wastra is an Indonesian term that refers to traditional fabrics produced using special techniques and possessing high artistic and cultural value. Various types of wastra, such as batik, songket, tenun, and ikat, reflect the rich cultural heritage and local wisdom from different regions of Indonesia.

On this occasion, the Department of Electrical Engineering showcased various types of wastra. By wearing these traditional fabrics, we not only highlight the beauty and uniqueness of wastra but also convey an important message about the significance of preserving and maintaining our national culture.
